Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

Orders processed Monday–Friday (excluding holidays). Processing: 1-3 business days (protective gear), 2-5 business days (tricycles), 3-7 business days (balancing scooters).

2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers

Contiguous US only. Carriers:

Small items (protective gear): USPS, UPS, FedEx
Tricycles: Freight carriers (LTL) or parcel
Balancing scooters: Ground freight only (due to lithium battery shipping restrictions, 49 CFR 173.185)

3. Shipping Costs & Delivery Times

Costs: Calculated at checkout. Free shipping on qualifying orders.
Times: Protective gear: 5-10 days; Tricycles: 7-15 days; Balancing scooters via ground freight: 7-20 business days. Estimates, not guarantees.

4. Lithium Battery Shipping Restrictions (Balancing Scooters)

Products with installed lithium batteries must comply with 49 CFR 173.185 packaging requirements.
Batteries must be UN38.3 tested.
Ground‑only transportation (no air).
Damaged or defective batteries are restricted to ground transportation only.
Do not ship damaged or recalled batteries.

5. Freight Delivery Process

Carrier will contact you to schedule delivery window (4-hour).
Standard delivery is curbside or threshold — driver will not bring inside.
Inspect before driver leaves — note any visible damage on delivery receipt.

6. White Glove Delivery

Available for tricycles and balancing scooters at additional fee. Includes delivery to room of choice, unpacking, and packaging removal.

7. Packaging

Tricycles: Flat‑pack boxes with corner protectors, foam padding.
Balancing scooters: Boxed with foam inserts; UL 2272 and UN38.3 labels/paperwork included.
Protective gear: Sealed in poly bags; CPSC compliance labels visible; for children's gear, tracking labels visible.

8. Damage Claims

Visible damage: Noted on delivery receipt — contact us immediately.
Concealed damage: Contact us within 48 hours with photos of damage and packaging. Keep all packaging.
